Family Christmas Traditions!!!

On the 15th we went shopping for a needy family. It is a Christmas tradition in the Griffiths family. Mom, McKenna, and I went shopping for a one year old girl. It didn't take us very long and we had a lot of fun doing it. Then on Saturday we had our annual Christmas Eve party (early, obviously). We always have a nativity play where the kids dress up in costumes and we listen to Uncle Dale read a the nativity and we sing Christmas carols. I have been the "director" of the play for years. I was an around 12 when I started. Grandma Andersen asked me if I wanted to do the nativity or if I could think of someone else to do it. Madison has been helping me the last couple of years, so she was asked and accepted. I was just her helper this year! She did an excellent job! Yeah Maddie!!! We also have a talent show and McKenna and I sang a Silent Night/O Holy Night duet. I had only practiced it for about a half hour before. We kind of just faked it! Hope it turned out okay!!
I have found a friendship with Deven and Keri and their awesome kids! I find myself hanging out with the oldest two girls. I think they are awesome!! I absolutely love them! Way to raise awesome kids Deven & Keri!!!!

A pictureless update!

Sorry, no pictures today. I knew that I should update, but I didn't have any pictures to go along with it so you will have to just bear with me! This week was finals week at the university, but lucky me, I didn't have any! So I have been done with school for a couple of weeks. Since I didn't have any school, this provided me with the time to get a lot more hours at work and earn some much needed cash! Yesterday, McKenna and Chase came over so that mom could wrap presents in peace. We made fudge and gooey chex mix. It was pretty fun. Not a lot going on in my life this week, and I am pretty happy about it. Everyone needs a week that isn't as busy!!

School Projects

These are some of the projects that I had to do for 2 of my classes. The classes were interior design and dress & humanity. The t-shirt (upper RH corner) I had to put things that described me as a person. McKenna helped me arrange the elements so that they looked good. The skirt was an assignment that we had to modernize the poodle skirt. We just stuck pink felt to the bottom of the demin skirt and used a flower instead of a poodle. All of the other pictures are of my interior design final portfolio. All of the little assignments have their own sheet and then they were all put in a box with my logo. That class was a strech for me, but I am glad that I stuck it out! The best news of all is that I am done with classes for the semester. A whole week earlier than the rest of campus!

Christmas Came Early....

Since my roommates are leaving as soon as finals are over, we did Christmas this week as well Anna's birthday party. We did a little gift exchange and it was pretty fun. I made all of my roommates picture frames that would match their bedrooms and put random pictures of all of us in them.
Azya made little boxes with our initials on them. Anna got us stockings with socks, nail polish, and face masks, and foot scrubs. Meredee got all of us body spray.
On Thursday night after Anna's study group, we did a birthday party for her. She loves peanut butter so we got her a reeses peanut butter cake. I got her Uno and Meredee got her a puzzle, which she wrote a story on the back. Then the two of us went in on a gift together. We got her Imaginiff. Oh and we also got her a tiarra to wear since she would be princess for the day. There was a lot of laughter and fun!
(We were all really tired!!! Can you tell?)
Last night we had our Ipaco Christmas party and had dinner catered by the Coppermill Restuarant and then we watched a play put on by the Pickelville Playhouse. It was really funny!
