Kota playing in Jello

Here is a video that I took of Kota when he came over to play!

So Spoiled!

I am so spoiled! I get to play with my favorite little buddy a lot! I consider this as being spoiled for a number of reasons:
  • His Grandparents live in Logan (closer to him that I am), he has an aunt & uncle in Lewiston, and an aunt and uncle in Preston.
  • He is SO much FUN to be around. We are always laughing!

We also spoil him too! :) He came over and played with us on Saturday! He is so polite. Last time he came to visit he would sign "more" whenever he wanted something. This time he would sign "please". How can you say no to a cute, smiley and polite kid! I was tickling him and he started signing "please"! How Cute!?! We colored, had great sword fights, tried new foods, played in jello, snacked on the regulars of crackers and cookies, climbed up the stairs a few times, and laughed!

More Projects and New CutesieBee Stuff

My friend is an excellent seamstress, especially when it comes to rebuilding or modifying clothes! Since that isn't really my strong point in sewing, we decided to trade labor. She rebuilt an old prom dress of mine, which I am selling on KSL.com or if you know anyone who is interested. I am asking $75 for it, but I would be willing to negotiate a little bit. I made a carseat cover for her niece.
The Dress I am selling is a size 14 and is a creamsicle orange with this beautiful floral beadwork that is all over the fitted bodice and goes down the top of the skirt.
She picked out the fabric for the cover (since she knows her niece! :)) and then I put it all together and this is what it looks like!
It turned out really cute and I hope her niece likes it as much as she did! I also got my YUDU out and did some screen printing and these are the things that I did:

A Great Vacation

Today we just got home from a great getaway to Yellowstone, Tetons, and Jackson Hole! Thanks to the need of an Ipaco board of directors meeting, we all got to go spend 3 nights in Teton Village! Our little family went up a day early and stayed in West Yellowstone. We spent all day on Friday in Yellowstone checking out all of the waterfalls (my request) and enjoying the crisp mountain air and beautiful surroundings.

I even stood right at the top of a waterfall and looked over the edge!! (For any of you who don't know this little fact about me: I am afraid of heights.)

We got to Teton Village on Friday night all exhausted and ready for bed. We were assigned to share a condo with my cousin, his wife, and their adorable 3 children. Also my great grandmother and another cousin close to my age. It was loads of fun spending time with them!
On Saturday morning Dad, Chase, Kenna, and I went White Water Rafting for the 1st time. We went with a white water rafting company and a few other members of our family which included an uncle, his 3 kids (1 of them is my age), a cousin, her husband, and their 3 kids, and then 3 more of my cousins. It was a BLAST! The water was cold, but it wasn't unbearable, in fact quite a few members of the family jumped in a couple of times. When the rapids started someone was able to ride "bull" (the very front of the raft) and Chase did it first! There were times when he would disappear under the water. I expected that this would be fun, but it was even better than I thought it would be. I definitely will have to go again!

We tried out a new burger joint in Jackson Hole for dinner called MacPhails. It was delicious. Then we went back to the condo and had a TON of FUN playing phase 10 with our condo mates and 2 other cousins who came and joined us. We stayed up until midnight laughing, playing cards, and bonding! :)
On Sunday we drove into Teton Park and went to Signal Mountain and looked out over the valley. It was such a beautiful day!

We then spent the evening vegging in front of the TV. We don't have anything but the very basic channels and home so when we get the opportunity to watch things like "Man, Woman, Wild", "Finding Bigfoot", and "Captured on Camera" we all soak it up!
This morning we packed up, spent a little bit of time shopping in downtown Jackson, had lunch at Bubba's and then headed home. It was a wonderful vacation and I am still not quite ready for it to be over!
