My New Neighbors

For over a week now we have had three ducks living at our apartment complex. They just hang out on the sidewalk at the bottom of the stairs, the lawn, and our parking lot. They aren't bothered by us or our cars so they don't move out of our way very well. It has been very interesting for all of us now that the weather is warm and we have little friends that hang out on our porches. I don't know where they came from, but they seem to have decided to make lower Edgehill their home!

Misc......

Okay so my roommate asked me to make her guest book for her wedding which is the end of May. I did. Here are some pictures of it. (I don't like the colors together, but I didn't pick them out!)
This is probably my favorite layout. She wanted room for the guests to write more than just their names if they wanted to.

Here is another one that I liked:
Then I tied a bow around it and gave it to her:
I have been trying to get ready for finals and the pageant! Both are next week! It's crazy how time flies! I wanted a change so last night, Chelsea dyed my hair:
This is how it turned out:
We did light golden brown on the top and medium brown on the bottom. The very ends of my hair had leftover highlights and I was tired of my hair looking crappy because of them! That problem is now solved!

A Busy Start of the Week

If the rest of my week goes like today, I may not be sane by the end of the week! I went to the 4-H office early this morning to help cut out fabric for sewing camp. We are cutting out all of the fabric that each kid will need, then all the kids will have to do is put everything together. It is taking quite a bit longer than I imagined. We cut for close to 5 hours last week and 2 1/2 hours today. We only have 4 bolts out of 12 finished! I am helping out every time they cut though, because I really need the hours for my practicum! I will need 300 hours by the time I graduate, but hopefully by August and I only have 30. Then I quickly ate lunch in my car and went to work at Ipaco. As soon as I got off work, I picked up my roommate, Meredee, and we went off to the airport.
We had to go pick up Heather and her brother. They were coming back from Pheonix and had no other way to get home. I worked on a paper for my class (which is due on Wednesday) and got so frustrated with it, that the rest will have to be put off until tomorrow. When I get tired, I don't understand what professors want. Seniors register for Fall 09 classes tonight at midnight and that means that I will be staying up to register so that I am sure to have a spot in the classes that I need to graduate. Needless to say, I am a little nervous about how the rest of the week is going to turn out!

Bedtime Stories Fun

Well me and my roommate Meredee rented Bedtime Stories and had the idea to invite some people to join us in watching it. We had popcorn, crackers, pizza, Koolaid, and Airheads. It was full apartment of fun. Let me introduce you to some of my favorite people (and they all came and partied with me!)
Chase, Landen, Brayden, Meredee, Madiosn, Me, Alyssa, Logan, Zachery, Kyler, and Berkley! McKenna was also there, but she is taking the picture. The movie was great. I had a lot of fun and hopefully everyone else did too.
While we waited for McKenna and Meredee to get back with the pizza, some of us colored and some of us played with mini skateboards.

A couple of relaxing weekends

So it has been a couple of relaxing weekends. Last weekend, Meredee & I went to my parent's house and scrapbooked with my mom and then we all played Wackee 6. It is a fast version of solitaire with 6 people.

Meredee made the cutest scrapbook page and she said that it was her first time ever scrapbooking. This past week I have been struggling to catch up on homework (I have no idea how I got so far behind!) and it has been really hard for me to do homework because I am so burnt out with school. This weekend I was at my parents for General Conference! My mom sets up a table in the office in front of the TV and we scrapbook and make cards while we watch conference. It is really nice and relaxing! I also finished my pants for sewing class, and pictures will come soon! I found out that one of my friends from high school is having a baby this summer. It just seems crazy to me to be at the age where my friends are getting married and starting their own families. Getting older is weird!
