A tour

Well, I have been wanting to put up pictures of my continually changing apartment. Here is a bit of photographic tour of my apartment. I already put up pictures of my newly organized bathroom, but here is my vanity and I'm particularly pround of my floral arrangement that I did!
Here is my front room and below is a picture of the kitchen.
I made all of the curtains and I really like the ones in the kitchen! My room is a very crowded room and I have tried to make it at least cute!
The rose picture was taken by my dad and I absolutely love it!
Don't you just love my overcrowded bookshelves???? I really need a bigger place!
My awesome roommates came back this week and I am so excited! School started though, and I have had the hardest time this semester getting back in the swing and getting over the feelings of hating school. I guess it is because it is my last semester! Hopefully I will survive it.
Hope my little tour of my apartment didn't bore everyone! Till next time!

In all my working the past few weeks, my apartment kind of fell apart. On Saturday I painted and while I was painting my mom decided to clean! Yay! I have been stressed about how small my apartment is and how much crap I have in it! I feel like I can't even function! After cleaning, my mom must have been in a working mood, because we then started figuring things out to help fit more stuff in the little space that I have. Heather put together my new pantry which was on a great sale. I decided to put more food in there since there are 4 of us sharing a small kitchen. Count on Heather to then test something out to see if she could fit in it!
She is actually in it and we had to prove that you could still close it with her inside! I guess I will have some space to put food (either that or she is tiny! which may also be true).
She is such a crazy girl, but she is an awesome friend! The organization fun didn't stop there. We then went to Walmart and Shopko and got stuff to organize the bathroom (since I will be sharing with Chelsea this year). The sales worked out great because we got some great stuff for way less.
I think that this will all help me to stay sane!
This space is only 12" wide and about 20" deep. We weren't sure what would fit here, but I had some shelves that fit perfectly!
Who knew that college housing could be so cramped! I want to put pictures of my apartment up, I just have to finish cleaning and then I will. I like it and now it feels a bit more organized and easier to live in. It is the last week of summer since my last semester of school starts on Monday. I'm not really looking forward to it, but on the bright side, my awesome roommates are coming back on Saturday!!!

Busy Busy Bee

Well, things got very busy for me once I came home from Deven & Keri's house. I am working with the 4-H for my practicum, which meant during the Cache County Fair I was completely at their disposal. It was a new experience and I learned a lot. I helped check in the Clover Bud entries (pre-k-2nd grade) on Monday and on Tuesday I assisted the judges from Rich County in judging our hundreds of sewing projects. I am so proud of my group! Kyley got 2nd place on her pillowcase, Brayden got 1st place on his pillowcase and pillow, 2nd place on his drawstring bag, and state on his apron. Chase got state on his pillow, 2nd place on his drawstring bag & PJ pants, and 1st place on his Chocolate Chip Cookies, Apron, and Pillowcase. The kids get money when they place, Chase got $14.50! I also helped with the fashion review where kids who entered clothing could also participate in a fashion show and interview for more money. I have also been working with Chase and McKenna at the apartments and we have been doing a lot!!! Today I was a judge for the Rich County Fair. It was an interesting experience and we got Laketown jam for helping them out.
Yum! I guess I will be having toast with jam and then going to bed because I am exhausted!

Welcome Home Deven & Keri

Well my stay with Deven & Keri's kids ended tonight. Their parents got home just before midnight from their cruise. I had a ton of fun with the kids and although it was a different lifestyle than I currently live (single to a single mother of 5) it was still hard to leave them. Deven & Keri brought back a hoodie from London for me. It is way cute! This week I am working at the Cache County Fair for my practicum and trying to deal with insurance about my car. I am hoping that I can get that all taken care of this week too! Thanks Berkley, Maddy, Landen, Logan, and Zachery for letting come and play with you guys! Thanks for the hoodie and letting me hang out with your kids Deven & Keri!
