A Week In January

There was no school on Monday, so I spent the morning doing homework and then at 3:00 Meredee, Anna, and I went to Bride Wars. It was so funny. Then we got stuff for ice cream sundaes and ate those while we watched The Return of the King. This week in sewing class we learned how to do a bunch of different seams like a french seam, a flat fell seam, a self bound seam, and a stretch seam. They are really cool. I seem to have found a hidden talent that I have. I have been working out at the Sports Academy and on Wednesday I pulled a muscle which resulted in a huge black bruise on the inside of my knee. I didn't really even feel it! On Friday night I picked up Chase from basketball and then fed everyone. Mom and Dad went to the temple so the others needed someone to look after them. I ended up staying out there until close to midnight talking to my mom and Chelsea. Then I braved the thick fog to drive home. It was so thick, but fortunately I was able to follow other cars up until a block away from my apartment. I was okay as long as I focused on the tail lights ahead of me. It made me extremely nervous when I would look over and you couldn't see anything to the sides of you. I made it home just after midnight and then ended up staying up until two o'clock. My roommate had a bunch of friends over for movies. I think that we are all getting sick and the late Friday night didn't help because last night Anna and I both fell asleep while watching a movie at abou 6:30. I woke up at 7:45 and started another movie to try to keep me awake a while longer. She didn't wake up until 9. Then we both went to bed at 9 and neither one of us got up until 11 this morning. I have a bad stomach ache and a terrible sore throat. I have to meet with the bishopric this morning for a little meet and greet. They are trying to better get to know the members of the ward by haviing 5 or so of us meet with them for about 20 minutes and it is my turn today.
