For our sewing class we are required to complete a sewing glossary. Most of the girls will be teaching sewing someday and they can use these to assist them. I will not be teaching one day, so this is for my own use. To make it easier for me to use and help me remember how I did a certain technique, I did a couple extra things to it.
I made a pocket out of paper and put it in the upper corner so that I can pull the instruction card that I typed up out of it easily. I typed up some basic instructions for each technique and also put the page numbers for further instructions from the books that I intend to keep.

I am particularly proud of this sample. It is a lapped zipper and this was my first attempt at it. I am so happy that it turned out and that I have found this new talent and love of sewing. We are also doing pattern alterations which I find frustrating, but they are probably very useful.

I set up my practicum so that I can graduate. I will be working the 4-H program and will doing all sorts of things with them starting in March. I am really excited and ready to start!!!!!
