Sharing the Gospel

I attended a Sharing the Gospel class a couple of weeks ago taught by our ward mission leader. We discussed a few tips of ways that we can share the gospel, here are a few:
-Post a link on a blog to the church website
-Email a friend a scripture or quote from lds.org
-Read our scriptures in public places
-Live by example
My friend's son is currently serving a mission in the Dominican Republic and I get to be on his email list. We got an email from him yesterday and he talked a little bit about being a missionary by example. This is what he said: "The best way to be a missionary when you are a normal person is to live. "Wait what?" That's right, I said it, just live. But live right. If you live the right way you will be happy and people will look at you and think "hmmm... what's with Frank? why is he so happy? what does he have that I need?" (and yes your name will change to frank no matter age or gender. like it) And one day they might ask you, then you're in."
I thought it was a funny but great suggestion! I also decided that I am going to put a spiritual thought or scripture that stands out to me in my life and studying. I am putting it along the right side of my blog and I am hoping to update it often as I learn and study. It is like someone in my branch said in sacrament meeting: "We have the best thing in the world. The gospel." I think we should show our appreciation for the knowledge we have and not be selfish and keep it to ourselves!
