The Season of Christmas Begins

Well, our Christmas season began this weekend. The day after Thanksgiving mom started decorating for Christmas and the fun only continued throughout the weekend. Last week I put up the Christmas tree at work: (Can you see the raging blizzard out the window? It had started only 10 minutes before!)

Then on Saturday, Chase and I listened to some great rockin' Christmas tunes while we set up our tree. We had fun looking through the ornaments and seeing what years we received them. Our Grandma gives us an ornament every year so when we start our own family, we have a bunch of ornaments. The only ones missing this year were Chelsea's since they are now on her tree.

I really wanted to do gingerbread houses this year and McKenna and Chase decided they wanted to as well. Sunday night we did our houses. Chase and McKenna lost attention and got done pretty quick, which worked out well for me since they gave me their leftover candy! I didn't get a picture of Chase's house, but here is mine & McKenna's:

McKenna tried to make a snowman, but he turned out kind of creepy.
