My Poor Blog

I have been so busy lately, that my poor blog has been very neglected. I've had a lot of Etsy orders that have been keeping me busy and playing with my adorable Carson.
He loves to play in my room, because frankly, I let him play with anything he wants. He has recently decided that my closet is AWESOME!
I have really sweet kids that I teach piano lessons to. After lessons one of the girls came back in and gave me some of her artwork. How sweet!?!?
Chase had surgery right before Spring Break to have his tonsils out. It was pretty rough on him, so he didn't have a super fantastic Easter and Spring Break. He toughed it out though. The Saturday before Easter we went to Old Main hill for our Griffiths family celebration. We have picnic lunches and the kids roll Easter eggs. This was Carson's first experience with this. He had a hard time catching on to throwing his eggs down the hill, which is surprising since he throws pretty much everything! He also thought it was hilarious to wear my sunglasses.
On Easter, the Whites came up to visit and have dinner with us. It was great to see everyone and share a great meal and holiday with them.
I got a new haircut last week, which I am getting a lot of compliments on, which surprises me a little since I haven't really styled it. It must be awesome if it looks great and I don't even have to do it! :)
I'm back with the bangs and I did more drastic layers. I also did a subtle weave of caramel in the top layer.

This last weekend was conference and my family likes to get away and enjoy it. It is also one of the few weekends we can get away now that dad is the bishop! We went to Sun Valley this year. Chase and I had never been and it was beautiful. We stayed in Ketchum which is a quirky little town. There was a thrift store that had a line before they opened, so mom and Chase went and checked it out. Whatever you could fit in a bag was $5! So naturally, they got two bags of stuff. Conference was great and I was reminded of things I need to be working on which is always great!
