A View of who I am....type 2

McKenna introduced us to this beauty-profiling program called Dressing Your Truth. It is quite fascinating. McKenna had no trouble spotting what “type” I was. Once I read through it, I was wondering if they had been following me around and recording my movements! I am a “type 2” woman. They are described as soft and subtle. Everyone has a secondary which mine is a “type 4” {which is Kenna’s dominant}.

Here are just some things about type 2 women.

·        Primary movement is fluid and flowing. Naturally calming, inviting, subdued and sensitive.
·        Type 2 energy is an introvert expression. Express a medium-to-medium low movement.
·        Keywords that describe movement of a type 2: blended, soft, easy-going, relaxed, connected, nurturing, comforting, warm, and detail oriented.
·        Making sure that life is comfortable for yourself and others is a primary motive! Comfort is a priority in every aspect of your life. We act to try not to cause any discomfort to anyone else, wear comfortable clothing, sitting on comfortable furniture, and eating comfortable food.
·        Type 2 women ask questions to gather details. It is necessary to ask questions and then once details are gathered, move forward.
·        Type 2 are deliberate and methodical in their approach to life
·        We can even be sensitive to foods, chemicals, and electronics. I guess this is a good explanation for my IBS
·        We have a gift of steadiness and consistency.
·        We can see another’s point of view and understand where they are coming from.
·        Some challenges we face: we get stuck in the investigation stage where we just keep asking questions; because we ask so many questions, we often question ourselves; we are not readily adaptable to change; and we tend to be worriers.
·        We can get too attached to people, things, or memories.
·        We move forward with soft and quiet determination. If we are challenged too intensely, our tendency is to hold back or go within.
·        We don’t look for credit or recognition, but we often don’t give ourselves enough credit.
·        Sometimes we feel like we just blend into the background and that we are overlooked and unnoticed.
·        Our thoughts follow a steady flow where everything is connected. We like our plans to follow a steady flow as well. We cannot disconnect from our plan to a new one easily. We tend to connect the past to the now which then connects to the future.
·        We love memories, we keep photos, keepsakes, scrap books, and journals. {the real reason that I blog}
·        We tend to observe rather than participate in social settings. Not that we are shy, just introverted. People do often perceive that we are shy though.
·        We tend to be on time, and like jobs that include details
·        We are pile makers! All of my piles have a destination in mind, but once I put that pile away, another will just take its place. I always have perpetual piles.
·        The beauty code word for a type 2 woman is beautiful.
·        Famous type 2 women: Jessica Alba, Jennifer Anniston, Hilary Duff, Princess Diana of Wales, Julia Roberts, Jane Seymour, and Emma Thompson

One of the things that I find fascinating about this is if you understand the types, you understand better why they do some of the things they do. If you understand someone, you are not as likely to be offended by something that they are doing. Everyone has all 4 types in them, but they lead with a dominant type. Many can identify their secondary type as well. I am a 2/4, Kenna is a 4/1, Chelsea is a 3/1, and Mom is a 3 / 4.
