June

It is hard to believe that we are nearing the end of June already. Chase and I have been painting apartments and are hoping after a marathon weekend of it, we will be done! I have been having fun babysitting the kiddos in the neighborhood. I just love spending time with those sweet, innocent spirits. They bring such joy to my life.
I have been publishing tons of stuff with Heritage Makers this month using up my mega pack of points I got for signing up as a consultant. I made a cute memory card set for Carson, which he loves! I've got a few books done {don't worry, I still have many more in mind!} I'm loving this new hobby of mine!
I got some new carseat covers done and up in the shop this month! YAY! I love sewing and I especially love being able to sew new things, that means that I have had a little extra time!

I spend just about every afternoon with my sweet Carson, he has quite the personality! On Sunday, Chase was ordained to a Priest and after the blessing he shook everybody's hands, so Carson jumped up and shook all of the mens' hands as well! He has been saying really cute things like today when I got home he was saying, "Boom. Boom. Fire Power." He is adorable. He has been trying to convince us that naps should not be included in his daily routine, although he assures us that he isn't tired and doesn't need a nap, he consistently falls asleep and sleeps for a couple of hours.
A dear friend of mine has been so sweet to share her daughter with me. Her daughter is super adorable and always happy. I occasionally sit with her and her husband at church and play with her daughter. I also get to babysit her while her parents go out on dates. She is so stinking cute and I just love her.

In a few weeks, I will get to go on vacation. I'm excited about the break since last year I didn't get a vacation and we didn't go on our New Years Trip this year. It's been awhile since I have really had a vacation.
I decided that I wanted a plant in my room. {I know, weird, right!?!} I tend to kill plants and so I haven't bothered with them and even actively avoided them. With my florist sister's help, I decided on a Chinese Evergreen. I don't know what I'm doing right, but it is thriving and even blooming. My sister told me that they never can get them to bloom in the shop so I must have figured out the perfect light to water ratio for it.
