I figured it was time to do an update. Since I got back from Arizona, I have been busy, both catching up from my vacation, but helping to cover other peoples' vacations. The week after I got back, Nyla had a vacation so I worked for her that week, which meant that I got a lot more hours in a shorter amount of days than I usually get, which also meant that I didn't have a lot of me or CutesieBee time when I got home. Did I mention that I don't like working at one job full-time, it makes me kind of cranky! I have been working on a custom order for 2 twin patchwork bedspreads, which I finished yesterday morning!
The weekend after I went to Arizona, Mom, Chelsea, McKenna and I went to Time Out for Women at Utah State. It was so nice not to travel and be in a spectrum with thousands of people and having to stay in a hotel.
Carson is so funny! The things that he gets concerned about is just comical. The other day my mom was downstairs and she heard Carson at the top of the stairs yelling for her. When she got to the bottom of the stairs, she saw him standing at the top of the stairs with a sock in each hand. He said, "Look Grandma. They're the same! They match!" He was so excited!
He also loves reading the books that I have made with Heritage Makers, his favorite is the one of me and him for the 1st 2 years of his life. Plus there are 2 copies, one for me and one for him, so we can read along together. He also has to try out everything in my room and any new things I get like this chair (I totally copied Heather & John) He also love stickers! He sticks them all over his arms, legs, feet and face!
Yesterday was a very productive sewing day and although I didn't get everything on my list done, I managed to get a lot done. I finished the twin bedspreads, did 2 toddler blankets, 3 baby blankets and 6 burp cloth sets. I wanted to get to baby bibs and the vest for my Halloween costume. After conference yesterday, McKenna, Chelsea, Carson and I got together for the evening at Chelsea's house. We usually do Ladies' night at Deseret Book, but since Mom wasn't here and McKenna couldn't get to Cache Valley until about 6:30, we just got dinner to go and ate at Chelsea's house. We played cards and watched "Christmas Mickey" movies on Netflix. That is what Carson really wanted to watch, so his awesome aunts and mom indulged him.

So besides sewing, I have been busy watching Carson as well as other children in the neighborhood. Right now I get to go watch these adorable 8 month old twins and their 2 1/2 year old sister once a week. I absolutely LOVE it!

I have also found an unexpected joy in working on a Halloween costume for this year. I haven't dressed up since I was like in 8th grade and it sounded like fun! I hope it turns out since I'm like my Dad in that if I'm going to do it, I'm going to nail it!
