Update

Wow I have really neglected my blog lately.

Our summer has been pretty typical, just our usual routines with added work (painting apartments) and family time.

Cody Bear is growing up so fast! He is walking now and is super fast and quite the explorer. He loves talking on the phone, getting into things, suckers and trying anything brother does!

Carson seems like he has unlimited energy and then he will all of the sudden crash. The boys spent a few nights sharing my bed while their parents were out of town for a bit. Carson was so excited to have a sleep over and even though I didn't get much sleep sharing my bed with two windmill, sleeping children, it was fun!

Anyone who knows me knows that I don't do blood, emergencies and the like. However, when Chase got hurt at work and I was on my way out the door to go to the bank, I was tasked with taking him to workmed. Usually when Chase visits Instacare and the ER, mom goes with him, but this time it was me. Because it was his face, the doctor decided to glue it rather than stitch to avoid scaring.

Carson loves Build A Bear. Since our trip he keeps asking when we can go back. A few weeks ago we made a deal that if he could fill out a chore/attitude chart, he could pick out a new outfit for his bear. It took him 3 weeks to complete the chart and he got to pick out clothes when he was staying with us. He was so excited and knew exactly what he wanted:
A Nemo hoodie
Black Althetic Shorts
Black Athletic Shoes
PJs
The hardest part was waiting for them to arrive in the mail. They happened to get her last week on the same day that we took another trip to Farmington Station (which he knows is where Build A Bear is). Because he was so well behaved while McKenna and Mom did some jewelry shopping (and is spoiled) we stopped by the Build a Bear Store on the way home where he picked out sunglasses, hulk hands and a ninja turtle hat. When we got back home, his package of clothes was waiting and we just had to put them on his bear!

I sure love spending time with these wonderful boys, even though it often wears me right out!

I'm looking forward to a trip to Mesa in a month. My best friend had her 2nd child on Sunday, a girl, and I'm going down to visit her family and meet her daughter!
