Summer

I swear this summer has flown by!

Next week Carson will start kindergarten! He is very excited about his teacher and that he has a lot of friends from his primary class also in his kindergarten class. One of his favorite things to do is to play Super Mario on the Wii. When I get home from work, he is all ready for us to play. Cody likes to play for a little bit too, but his favorite thing is pushing the pause button!

The boys love to help make cookies and other things. Cody sticks around the whole time because he likes to lick the beaters! Smithfield got a splash pad this year and the boys have a lot of fun playing in the water there.

Great Grandma Griffiths wanted to go on a motor cycle ride, so Dad took her on Deven's bike. She was riding in her leather jacket at 99 1/2 years old!

Yesterday was the Solar Eclipse. You could see it quite well here. It didn’t get completely dark, but it was a gray dull color. We had our special glasses so that we could see it. It was a really neat experience. Cody said that Cookie Monster ate the sun and kept saying that it was broken and grandma needed to fix it.

In January, we planned our trip to Orlando! It is almost here! It is amazing and awesome how fast the time has flown by. We are just over a month out! This will be my first visit to Florida, my first visit to a Disney park and my first visit to Universal Studios. I am VERY excited!
