On Saturday, Chelsea & her family were sealed in the Logan Temple. I am so thrilled that I was able to be part of this wonderful occasion. I babysat Carson and then got him ready and took him to the Temple. While he was eating lunch he asked, "Mama" and I told him that she was at the Temple. Then he asked "bampa" and again I told him that he was at the Temple. Then he exclaimed "Whoa!" It was so sweet!
I got to go to the nursery with him and play until the sealing. He was so happy and fun! I got him changed and then they came and got me to take me the sealing. He cried when I left the nursery, which broke my heart. We could also hear him crying outside in the hall, but as soon as they brought him in, he was fine. After the sealing, I got to go back to the nursery with him and wait for Chelsea to come get him.
When they walked out of the temple he was so excited and had the cutest expression on his face. He ran out and to my mom to give her a hug! After pictures, we went back to our church for a luncheon. Carson wouldn't eat for his parents and kept asking for me, so I went and got him to try to feed him. I'm the cool aunt because not only did I let him eat what he would, but I let him feed himself. He ended up eating cheetos, brownies, and the rest of my strawberry cheesecake.
We had a really long and wonderful day!
On Sunday I got a new calling. I am now the Primary Pianist. I'm a little bit nervous, but I know that this is where I need to be serving right now. I played on Sunday and made it through okay.
My parents gave me their old office chair that was in need of recovering. A guy at work does that and I got the fabric, and he covered it. It is awesome and matches my room great!
