A Busy Week with no Parents

So last week, mom and dad were on a trip to Washington. They left early Saturday morning, and because Carson had a sleepover with Aunt "Na-nae", he was there to see them before they left. Of course since he has decided that stuffed animals are awesome, we had 6 of them in bed with us. Needless to say, I didn't get great sleep.

Mom is Carson's usual babysitter, so since she was gone, I covered for her. On Monday I took the day off work and watched Carson all day. We ran errands in the morning and while we were at Hobby Lobby, I got him some of those pom pom craft balls and a box for them. Then we went to Sonic for lunch and we ate there so I unrolled the windows and let him sit on the front seat to eat his lunch. When they brought out his chocolate milk, he squealed and danced for excitement! He ate his whole grilled cheese sandwich and drank all of his chocolate milk while watching the "bikes" at the Harley store. Turns out he also loves minis. When one drove through, he stuck his head out the window and yelled "CAR! CAR! CAR!".

I had piano lessons lined up in River Heights Monday afternoon, so Carson was going to come and play with my friends little boy. However when I was loading the car up, I suddenly didn't feel well at all! I started throwing up and so I canceled piano. Carson was so sweet. He brought me a blanket and put it on me while I laid on the floor. Those pom pom balls became a major blessing the rest of the week. He LOVED them and would play with them for hours in one room instead of running all over the house expecting me to follow. I was sick all week and only ended up working Tuesday morning and Friday morning. He was such a good kid to put up with a not so fun aunt.

He kept getting in trouble for trying to eat the crayons, so he decided to put them in his mouth side ways just to get attention!

I was super busy with my Etsy shop too! I have been blessed to have a TON of orders the past couple of weeks!
