Carson's 2nd Birthday Party

Yesterday we celebrated Carson's 2nd birthday with a FROZEN birthday party. All week he was so excited for his party and kept telling us that we were going to sing "Happy Birthday to you" and he was going to eat birthday cake. He also was so excited that his cousins would be there to play with him. If you asked him what he wanted for his birthday, he would say "birthday cake". I ended up doing the birthday cake again this year, but luckily I got Chelsea to bake and stack the cake this time. They got a toy set of FROZEN toys for Carson and we used them on the cake. He LOVES the movie and has it memorized. His favorite is Olaf the snowman.

I went up to the church to help Chelsea get ready and Carson told me that Olaf was coming to his party. Connor walked in a few minutes later with a huge Olaf balloon. Carson squealed and ran to give it a hug. He kept saying "I need to touch it."
I played ball with him until his cousins showed up to play. Then he had more fun than ever! He was hungry so getting him to stop and eat dinner wasn't too difficult, but he was eager to get back to playing. Then he was delighted when everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to him and he blew out his candles. He ate some cake and wanted to go back to playing. Getting him to focus enough to open his presents was quite a challenge, that kid was so overloaded. Not only that, but he was SPOILED and got so much!
