Halloween 2014

So turns out, I like Halloween when you get to do something with children. I wanted to dress up this year, I have been thinking about it for a couple of years (yeah, I know, slow to make up my mind!) and thought it would be fun to just do it. I took Carson trick-or-treating, so it worked too! I love the show Once Upon A Time and one of my favorite characters is Red Riding Hood, so that's is what I did for Halloween. I made most of my costume getting pieces that I was lacking from various shops! I thought it would have been funny if Carson had gone as a wolf, but he wanted to be Spiderman and since it is more about him, he got his wish ;). I worked in the morning and then went home at lunch time and got both Carson and I ready to go. We then loaded up and went to Lee's trick-or-treat. It took him a little bit to get back into the routine of it, but he was so excited by what he got. He got a ring, a cookie, an apple (very excited about this!), string cheese, chocolate milk, a sucker, a blue toothbrush (the other big hit!) and a rice crispy treat. He also picked up some Halloween sugar cookies to take to Grandpa Dave and the guys at work. Then we went over to Hyde Park City so that he could drop in on his Grandma Susan. He was excited to get a popcorn ball AND candy from her. Then we went back to Grandma Trish's house to kill time before heading into Logan. We watched a Halloween Garfield movie while he ate his cookie and chocolate milk. Then we got some pictures with Chase who dressed up as Clark Kent.

Then we went to Logan. We stopped at Ipaco to see Grandpa Dave and pass out some cookies. Grandpa had run and errand and wasn't there. Then Teisha and her family stopped by and we took some pictures and I got to see some more of my nieces and nephews. Grandpa got back while we were taking pictures so we talked to him for just a minute and then went over to Chelsea's work trick-or-treat. Chelsea, dressed up as the expecting care bear, announced a new baby arriving the end of May 2015. We didn't do even half of that since the building was hot, crowded and Carson was wiped. He fell asleep in the car on the way back home.
My other nephew, Carter, was Batman for his first Halloween! I think he made an adorable Batman.

McKenna, who dressed up as Regina, the Evil Queen from Once Upon A Time, came up after work to visit and so that Dad could take pictures of us. It was a fun holiday!
