This morning my Grandpa Bop finished fighting his battle with cancer and left his earthly home. I'm so glad that he no longer has to suffer and be in pain. I already miss him so much and I'm sad that I don't get to have more great memories with him. I'm sad that my children won't get to know him and have the memories of him that I do.
I do have to remind myself that many kids don't get the opportunity to know their great grandparents, but this has not been the case with me and I had hoped that my kids would get that opportunity as well.
I love my grandpa and will miss him terribly!
