Our last full day was spent at Animal Kingdom. This was also the hottest, most humid and crowded day we experienced all week. I did not handle the 95% humidity very well. We tried to ride the new ride "Flight of Passage" from Avatar, but the line was SUPER long, we are talking the shortest wait all day was 3 hours.
We had breakfast at Harambe, an African town. After that we went on the Kilimanjaro Safari. This was neat. We rode in a truck and got to check out all these animals. Some, like the white rhino, came right next to the truck! After the safari we checked out some other animals by walking through the Gorilla Falls trail.
There was a really cute 2 year old gorilla that seemed to share my feelings of the humidity.
We went to "Its Tough to be a Bug". It was crazy. You got stung in the back by a bee, had roaches crawl under your butt and had to endure a stink bug....
We also saw the Tree of Life which was beautiful!
We had lunch in Asia before going on Kali River Rapids. It was wonderful to get wet, although I didn't feel like we got wet enough.
Our longest line of the day was for Expedition Everest. It is a crazy roller coaster that was a lot of fun! After that ride, we went to the new "Na'vi River" from Avatar. I was fried at this point and couldn't handle the heat and humidity anymore. I hung out in some air conditioned shops while McKenna did a bit more exploring.
