Okay, so when I need a change in my life, I redecorate my room. That is just my thing. This need for change happened the same time we went to IKEA. I had bought a rug for my room 2 weeks before our 2nd trip to IKEA and I just got everything else I needed to redo the room.
I got the rug, bedspread, pillow cases, the green pillows (well sort of) I got the white pillows for $3 a piece and then I just got green fabric and covered them. I also got the curtains and the cool little frosted globe lamp (below next to the vase of flowers).
My friend observed that since high school I have gone from green, blue, yellow & white to just blue, to red & black, to green, and now I'm to gray, white, blue and green. I absolutely LOVE my new room though and it is so relaxing and has become my little oasis (which I really need since when I lived alone I always had my own space). I also think that colors help it to look bigger which is really nice since it is a pretty small room.

It is soooooo clean too:) Probably the cleanest room in the house!
