Collection & More

Me & McKenna collect the Disney Animators' Collection dolls. I now have all except Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff. It is an insane amount (at least I realized that once I pulled them all out for the picture), but I love them.
During the Priesthood session of conference, Mom, Chelsea, Carson and I once again went to Sizzler for dinner and then to Deseret Book for ladies night. Mom won a necklace in the drawing and I won sister missionary stickers.
For the past week I have been staying with a neighbor family while their parents were on vacation. They are sweet kids and so good too! I really was only needed right before bed to make sure everything was taken care of and then spend the night and get them off to school. They were so good and fun to be with. A few evenings I went over right after dinner and taught them how to play our favorite card game, Wackee 6. They loved it and are really good at it. Since we are in the same ward, I hung out at their house before church and then we all went together. Since my seat was taken in Sacrament meeting, I sat with them and then took them home.

I really enjoyed spending time with them and helping out where I could.

Saturday I had an open house style party to sell some of my CutesieBee inventory. It wasn't as well attended as I thought it was going to be based off the number of people who said they were going to come, but it still was good. Shanna and Jax stayed the whole time, Mindy, Chelsea, and Carson stayed for quite a while too. My old roommate, Anna, even came from Salt Lake. It was so good to see her after a couple of years of missing my friend. Near the end of the party Carson began freaking out that he needed to see the baby in the carseat I have to display covers. Chelsea put it on the floor and showed him that there was no baby in it. When I was cleaning up I found that he had put all of the stuffed animals in it and buckled it. I don't know if it was because he wanted something to be in the seat, or if he was hiding them from Jax. He is in the toddler "mine" stage for sure!

Heather came up from Arizona for the weekend for a visit and a baby shower. It was so good to see her and it was fun to see her with a baby belly! We of course spoiled her and we aren't even done. I made her a blanket and burp cloth set and gave her a stuffed animal, 2 books, a teething toy, socks, an outfit, hair brush, travel size lotions, a swaddling blanket, a infant mirror for the car, a growth chart, and a bib. Mom gave her a portable high chair/booster seat, clothes, a thermometer and some more fun stuff. Then I took her shopping to pick out the fabric for her carseat cover and towels for mom to make a hooded towel.

Those collectible dolls are adorable. Collectibles are always so intriguing to me- the whole collecting adventure, keeping them in good condition, and wondering what their value will be over time. And man oh man, when you say your friend was spoiled by you guys, you meant it! How fun for her to feel so loved and I'm sure it was fun for you guys to get all of it for her :)
