Brothers

After looking around for these pictures, I found them last night! So my good friends Jacob and Joseph graduated from Sky View with me in 2006. We met when I was about 4 years old and it was always us with the neighbor girl our age. I always figured that I was the tag-a-long and that they were more her friend, but they were always nice to me and let me come along for the fun. In 7th grade, that neighbor girl decided that she and I couldn't be friends anymore, I also expected that meant the boys would head out of my life too. To my surprise, they didn't. As we got older, we spent more time together and they became more than friends, they became more like my brothers. Many people asked if me and Joseph were dating because we spent so much time together, but what they didn't understand was that we spent so much time together because we were like siblings that were best friends. They took me to school during my sophomore year since they turned 16 right before school started. They would randomly pick me up to go for a drive on a Sunday afternoon in their dad's truck. When they started dating, I always got to meet the girls and somehow I needed to approve them. {Which the girls didn't appreciate} When Joseph went on a mission, I was having a fight with another of my friends and so I felt that I was being abandoned by my friends. That quickly changed however, and Joseph and I wrote to each other every week. Also on Mondays if we timed it right, we would be online at the same time and so we would chat for an hour or so. When he came home from his mission I was living in Logan with Azya, Anna and Meredee. He decided that he needed to spend all of his down time at my apartment. I think he was having a hard time adjusting to all of his friends getting married while he was gone...
They look out for me and still come into work and check on me. They are now fathers. Jacob has a daughter and a son on the way. Joseph has 2 sons and 1 daughter! It is hard to believe that is how far our lives have come.
