So when things in my life don't change to what I want, I change my bedroom. This has always been a thing with me. I kept the same colors, I just made it a little bit more sophisticated and brought in a little bit more color. I got a new comforter set and a new storage bench. My little one was a wicker one that was falling apart. This one is much bigger and nicer! I am very happy with how this side of the room turned out, now I need to get working on the horrible mess the other side is!

Love it!! Very type 2 beautiful too!!! One thing that Oprah said that stuck with me (and sometimes haunts me) is that your home should rise up to greet you. I love it and hate it because sometimes it feels like a lot of pressure :) But I hope to someday be able to maintain a home that rises up to greet me!! Certainly looks like your room does that- so cute!
Only half of my room does that, right now the other half stresses me out. Always a work in progress huh?
