Today when I got home from work, Chelsea and Carson were over. Chelsea wanted him to stay awake so I couldn't hold him the way I usually do or he falls asleep. He loves to be on his side so I put him on his side and started rubbing his back. Turns out, he LOVES it. He was completely content, awake, and making sounds kind of like purring. Chelsea has decided that she is going to have to remember that to keep him calm. In fact, when I tried to turn him to his other side so that he was facing me, he got kind of cranky and tried to roll the other way. He really wanted his back rubbed! It was sooo cute.
Tomorrow is mom's birthday so I made her a cake this afternoon and since we are all busy tomorrow evening, we had the cake tonight.
