Not that this week was a bad one or anything, I am just glad that it is now Saturday! Chase has been at scout camp all week which has made me the unpaid zoo keeper. I am pleased to report that Pascal, Draco, Fishies, and Jazz are still alive. Although I came pretty close to killing Jazz, especially last night! He acts so strange when everyone leaves and it just gets amplified if dad is gone. I was not as productive as I wanted to be or even as I usually am when everyone is gone. I did NOTHING on the house. My mom will likely be shocked when she gets home. This is not normal for me.
The clean dishes are still in the dishwasher, the fridge isn't cleaned out, the clean clothes are still in the dryer, the dirty dishes still in the sink, and so on. The house looks exactly the way it did when mom left for girls camp. My room is a bit messier though. When I got off work, I didn't feel like doing ANYTHING!!! I blame the heat. I would come home, put lightweight pajamas on and lay on my bed and watch TV or listen to music. It took all of the energy I had just to take care of the zoo and water the flowers.
Unfortunately I had a list of things that I needed and wanted to do, but didn't have the energy and motivation to actually do them. These things are still on my list for a day with energy.
