Sometimes I think...

Sometimes I think that summer is more busy than the "school year". Everyone has vacations and family things to schedule around at work and our family has girls camp, scout camp, EFY, and family vacations too. This week piano started on our summer schedule. In June I only have two students and they now come in the morning. A new student started this week as well. She is very excited to be playing the piano, and I hope she keeps her enthusiasm. On Wednesday I went to Farmington to visit Kayla & her baby. It has been about 7 months since I have seen them. I really miss Kayla, but I love getting to make a day of visiting her. We got to chat and relax and then we went to lunch at Chilis in Centerville. It was a very great day! She is such a neat mother and friend! My work schedule for the next few weeks is a little bit different than I am used to. I work light at one end of the week and heavy at the other. I don't usually work a full day since I am part time working six days a week. Nyla's family had a funeral out of town today, so I held down the fort. The great news is that she is splitting my Saturday shift with me tomorrow!!! In two weeks, Chase will be at scout camp and mom will be at girls camp, so I will be the official Carson babysitter. I am really excited for that! But that means at work I will work a lot at the beginning of the week in order to do that. The week after that Nyla has girls camp so I will be working VERY HEAVY at the end of the week. I may even get overtime which is a big deal for a part time employee. It isn't for sure, but it looks like me and Nyla will be splitting up the first week of July. Ipaco is closed for the 4th of July and Nyla will be out of town the two days after and I may be out of town the two days before. We will see how that plays out though. Needless to say, the summer may just fly by since things got busier!
Chase will turn 14 years old on Monday. I can't believe it!!!! He is growing up so fast and before I know it, we will be sending him somewhere in the world to teach the gospel!
