So me and Kenna pride ourselves on speaking "movie". My friend also tells me that when I quote movies, I am very animated. Some of the best movies to quote are "kids" movies from Disney, Pixar, and Dreamworks! Kenna & her roomies went to the City Creek Center (a fun trip in her mini cooper: Sheldon, ;)) They went to the Disney Store, since that is where single college age girls end up :). Of course since we have an adorable nephew, we can't resist getting him things. Kenna brought home a stuffed animal of Squirt, from Finding Nemo. His head bobs just like the turtle in the movie! He is soooo cute! Carson LOVES him. We constantly ask him (while pretending to be Squirt), "Do you have your exit buddy?" or tell him "We're gonna have a great jump today!"
She also couldn't resist getting her awesome, 24 year old sister some toys too. Never too old for Disney! She brought me a set of Tangled little toys! LOVE TANGLED! Possibly my favorite Disney movie right now.
Speaking of Tangled, meet our very own PASCAL. He is Chase's newest member of the zoo. .
I am still loving teaching primary. Tomorrow my lesson is on faith. We are specifically studying Alma 32 & 33 when Alma teaches the Zoramites about faith by comparing it to a seed. I try to find as many ways to teach each lesson as I can so that no matter what, these kids might go home having learned something. For tomorrow, I made puzzles for an enrichment activity and I put together a little packet for each of them that includes a seed, soil, and a Styrofoam cup so that they can nourish their seed and compare it to nourishing their faith and testimony. Hoping this goes well!! Fingers crossed!
