Since Carson has arrived in our family, I haven't been my usual crafty, productive self. I spend my spare time with him! I have been pulling a lot more hours while my co-captain has been out of town, so I took the day off on Tuesday. I still taught piano lessons, but that was it. I got the top of a patchwork blanket done and I made me a new bag. I found the tutorial for it on another blog. I think it turned out pretty cute!
While I was cutting out fabric, Chase decided to lay on my floor and play on my iPad. Jazz didn't want to be left out so he laid by Chase and used him for a pillow (it is usually the other way around).
Yesterday I worked in my office all alone, all day. It will be the same story today and tomorrow. Nyla is at girl's camp. As soon as I get off work on Friday, our family is going to Manilla for the weekend and a few days next week. (Well some of the family that has to work on Monday & Tuesday will come home on Sunday). Then next week Nyla & I will switch off the week since I will be on vacation Monday & Tuesday (we are closed on Wednesday for the 4th of July) and then I will work while she takes vacation on Thursday & Friday. I have an awesome team teacher for primary who is going to be flying solo on Sunday while I am out of town. My prayers will be with her since we have a rambunctious group!
