Today I have been watching Carson while Grandma and Grandpa are on an anniversary trip and while his parents are at work. He has decided that playing on the floor is NOT an option today and for the most part, he wants to be on the move, which means I have to be on the move. I have had a few things to get done today so he has just had to be my shadow. We ran to Hobby Lobby to get some fabric this morning and he fell asleep on the way home. I was hoping that he would stay asleep for at least a half hour so that I could get some sewing done, he woke up three minutes after being home. Then he sat on my lap while Chase and I ate lunch and he really wanted some of my food. I gave him some french fry which he thought was disgusting!! Good for him!
He was so tired, but was starting to get hungry so we walked around the house and he sang along while I sang him Primary songs. Then he ate a delicious lunch of oatmeal and bananas which I couldn't seem to shovel in his mouth fast enough. Then I put him down for a nap and went straight to sewing. About 20 minutes later Chase called upstairs to let me know that he was awake. I went and got him and tried to put him on a blanket with some toys while I finished the blanket that I needed to get done. NOPE!!! He ended up on my lap while I finished sewing. It was sooo cute! He would put his hand on my wrist while I manuevered the fabric and would grab the blanket whenever I did to turn it.
Then he held the blanket, this was the only way he would let me put him down while I packaged up the order. He just wants to help his Aunt Nae today.
Now he is helping me update my blog. He puts his hands on my wrists while I type and then he takes them off and pounds on the desk and looks at the screen. He is such a smart and adorable boy, even when he is being a little bit high maintenance.
