March Update

So since I have the time, I guess I should probably do an update.
The last two weeks of being 26 has been exhausting, when I have allergies, I get super groggy and tired, well, that has been the case for the last couple of weeks. I can’t take allergy medication because it makes me high. I have been trying not to eat anything sugary before noon as it is supposed to help with my insulin resistance. Most days I do really well, luckily I have now found a Greek yogurt that I actually like. Yay for less lactose and more protein!
I had Teresa do something different with my nails this time and although they don’t top my last ones on my list of favorites, they are super cute!

I got a bunch of orders this week, many of them were custom. Thankfully I was able to get them all done before covering for Nyla while she is out of town. I have also been trying to get some new things put together since I am doing another CutesieBee party at my house on April 12th. I’m trying to give myself a deadline to get some new things done!

With the weather warming up, Carson wants to spend more and more time outside. The other day we were playing outside and from Grandma’s swings, you could see the back of a new house being built. You could also hear them hammering, so Carson asked what it was. I told him that they were building a new house. He asked me “Grandpa?” and I said no. Then he said “Oh. Bob.” Apparently I’m a little bit slow because I asked him who Bob was. He said, “the movie, Bob the Builder.”
He had a doctor appointment last week and when he got home I seriously asked him what the doctor had said and he equally seriously responded “no more monkeys jumping on the bed.” That kid cracks me up! That wasn’t what the doctor said, and in fact he is going to be having surgery on April 10th to fix his thumb so he can move it and it won’t be so painful when he catches himself with his hands. When we talk about it we ask him if he is going to go to the doctor, take a nap, and when he wakes up his finger will be fixed.

I preordered Frozen from Disney and as part of the promotion I got a $20 off a purchase of $40 or more coupon. I was able to get the animator collector doll Cinderella and a couple of stuffed animals for free! Now the only dolls I need to finish my collection are Elsa and Anna. Yipee!!! Now I just need to figure out where to store them…..
