Beginning of Christmas and thinking

So I may be an over-achiever and I have Christmas all done and wrapped! I absolutely love giving gifts and think about it all year long!
On Friday after I worked in the morning, I came home and played with Carson. Chelsea ended up getting off work early and so we ended up with most of the afternoon off. When Chelsea got here, she was talking about how she had set up the Christmas tree and how Carson wasn't supposed to touch the ornaments on the tree. Right after that, he disappeared and then came running back in to me saying "broke". I asked him what was broke and he took me to my bedroom over to the little 3 foot tree I have set up. He picked up one of the ornaments off the floor and looked up at me and said "broke". The ornament wasn't actually broken, but he had got it off the tree. I don't know if it was by accident or not, but he came and got me to fix it. After we put it back on the tree and I thanked him for telling me so we could fix it, we went back into the other room to tell Grandma and mom what had broke. At the end of his story I said, "yes, but we fixed it. huh?" He looked at me and said "no, broke it."

Today in Primary I was thinking about the funny things that are said and happen. I even thought back to what seemed like a lifetime ago to the class I had last year. Like one day I'm helping one of the boys re-string his shoe laces and he says "yeah cause you're like 40!" And then another day in sharing time they were talking about the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. When they got to the part about that these boys wouldn't pray to the idol and what was the idol. Tagg leaned over to me and said. "It was a bunny....a chocolate bunny."
More recently a sharing time was being taught about honesty and a picture of a boy was placed on the board. Then situations were drawn in where the boy was dishonest. When the teacher would ask, what happens when we are dishonest? The kids would answer, "You get smeared with peanut butter!" Then the teacher would let a child smear the picture with peanut butter. It was pretty funny though and I wondered how many of the little ones would go home and tell their parents that if they were dishonest they would get smeared with peanut butter.

As part of my de-stress, I was trying to reorganize my bedroom in the hopes of being able to keep it clean. I ended up moving all of my jewelry out of the jewelry box and got this cute hanging organizer. I was a little bit surprised that I like this set up way better than having them in a jewelry box. I usually like cupboards and drawers to hide all of my stuff.

I was also very proud of myself for not freaking out on Friday when I got another bill for my endoscopy. I had misunderstood since they sent me two bills from the same place (something they didn't do last time) and thought somehow the insurance stepped up! Not really, this bill was for $517. My savings account is now completely empty which means I have to start baby step 1 again!! GRRRR. Now I officially have NO MONEY. Plus my sewing machine is still not done. Really trying not to bash heads together over that one, especially since I got an order for one of my tree skirts that requires a lot of sewing!!!! I am still borrowing a machine from my dear friend, but I really want my "baby" back! I think I'm having separation anxiety from my machine....
